Important information:

  • The marshalling yard does not accept deliveries. This location is only for the staging of trucks delivering to and picking up from event site facilities.
  • All carriers delivering to or picking up from the facility must check in at the marshalling yard.
  • Drivers will be assigned a number according to check-in time and will be dispatched once dock space is available.
  • Please be advised that certified weight tickets are required when checking into the marshalling yard.

  • Where do I check in when I arrive?
    • We have a trailer/temporary structure on the property with Freeman signage. Upon arrival, park in the lot and check-in with our on-site personnel.
    • We have personnel inside the office/storefront for check-in. Freeman signage will display exact location. Upon arrival, park in the lot and check-in with our on-site personnel.

  • Is there an entrance fee?
    • No, there is no fee to enter the marshalling yard.
    • Yes, there is a fee to enter the marshalling yard. The fee is charged and collected by McCormick Place. The fee is time-stamped and is valid for up to 16 consecutive hours.
  • Is there a scale at the marshalling yard?
    • No, we do not have a scale at the marshalling yard, but you can find the nearest truck scale to the marshalling yard location by searching "truck scales near zip code" online.
    • Yes, there is a scale on-site.
  • Can I park my trailer at the marshalling yard during the show?
    • No, we are unable to store empty trailers on the properly during the event. We recommend contacting your hotel or local truck stop to confirm if your empty trailer can be parked there for the duration of the event.
  • If I arrive outside of operating hours, is overnight parking permitted?
    • No, accessibility to the marshalling yard is limited to the published operating hours.
    • Yes, the lot is accessible outside the published operating hours. Note that parking outside the operating hours at is your own risk as there is no on-site security and the property is not gated.
