Self-Unloading Policy

Freeman has secured an on-site location for privately owned and company owned vehicles under 24’.

Self-unloading service is defined as an exhibitor who can unload their exhibit material either by hand carrying or using hand-operated, non-electronic equipment. Pallet jacks cannot be used at the self-unloading area. 

Cart Service is available and has a designated priority unloading area. Click here to view the Cart Service form.

Definitions

What is a Privately Owned Vehicle?

Privately Owned Vehicles are defined as cars, pick-up trucks, vans, and other trucks primarily designed for passenger use, operated by a full-time employee of the exhibiting company.

What is a Company Owned Vehicle?

Company Owned Vehicles are defined as box trucks under 24' or commercial van, operated by a full-time employee of the exhibiting company.

Procedures (Marshalling Yard Check-In)

Proceed to the marshalling yard to receive a pass for the designated POV area. Once released from the marshalling yard, proceed to the venue, and check in at the designated POV Check-in area to be staged. There will be signage posted to direct you. Verify with the onsite personnel if you be utilizing Cart Services or if you will be self-unloading. Once staged in the POV area exhibitors may start unloading their equipment and delivering it to their exhibit space.

Two people must be with the vehicle - one to accompany the product to the exhibt space and one to remove the vehicle from the area.

Procedures (On-Site Check-in)

Proceed directly to the facility and check in at the designated POV Check-in area for staging and checking in. There will be signage posted to direct you.

Verify if you be utilizing Cart Services or if you will be self-unloading.

Two people must be with the vehicle - one to accompany the product to the booth and one to remove the vehicle from the area. 

Availability

Self-unloading services will be available during move-in.
